Gifts From Finland started with a trip home. My family is originally from Finland, and my grandparents still live there — so when I went to visit them, I came back with a suitcase full of the chocolate, clothing, and everyday goods I grew up loving, and a new idea: why isn't any of this available in the U.S.? That trip is what sparked Gifts From Finland, and since 2003 we've been importing the real thing directly from Finland so you don't have to get on a plane to find it.

Everything we carry is something we'd happily give as a gift ourselves. — Feelmax toe socks, Nordic walking poles, Fazer chocolate, and apparel that celebrates Finnish culture and *sisu*, that uniquely Finnish blend of grit and quiet determination. With family still in Finland, we stay close to what's actually popular there, not just what's easy to import. Many of our products are hard to find anywhere else in the U.S. — imported directly so you can enjoy the same quality Finns rely on at home, whether that's chocolate that actually tastes like it was made in Finland or socks designed around the Nordic philosophy of natural, barefoot movement.

More than two decades later, we're still a small operation running out of Macon, Georgia, and we like it that way — when you email or call with a question about sizing or an order, you're talking to us, not a call center. We ship every order within 24 hours, because whether it's a gift or a treat for yourself, waiting around isn't part of the fun.
